In Home Caregiver – Overnights at Freedom Home Care

In this role, you will enhance the quality of life for seniors and people with disabilities by assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, medication reminders, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment.

The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

• Overnight shift (M-F) or (M-TH) 10p – 6am

• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping activities
• Medication reminders
• Assist with errands and shopping
• Educate family members on safe care techniques

• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and up‑to‑date auto insurance
• Knowledge of dementia
• Experience with mechanical lifts
• Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Ability to pass background check, driving record check and drug screen
• Excellent communication
