Healthcare Administration, Medical Office
Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with serious illness, focused on relieving symptoms, reducing stress, and improving quality of life for both patients and their families. Our palliative care program brings together a dedicated, interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other specialists who partner closely with a patient’s existing medical team to provide an extra layer of support.
This care is guided by the needs and goals of each patient—never just their prognosis.
We are seeking a Palliative Care Team Assistant who will play a vital, behind-the-scenes role in keeping our inpatient team running smoothly and compassionately. This position is the hub of our daily operations, supporting team communication, coordinating workflow, and helping ensure that patients and families receive timely, thoughtful care.
In this role, you’ll be the point person for day-to-day coordination across the service line—managing provider schedules, assigning new consults as they come in, organizing patient and family meetings, and helping keep everyone connected and informed. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, love bringing order to complex systems, and want to make a meaningful difference in the care of patients and families facing serious illness, we’d love to hear from you.
