Opportunity:
Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Job Details:
• Full-time position (1.0 FTE) with Monday-Friday 8am-5pm schedule
• Primarily outpatient practice with occasional inpatient/ED consults
• New PMHNP graduates will be considered
• Pediatric experience and competence preferred
• Conduct health screenings and psychiatric evaluations
• Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications
• Provide integrated mental health services in general health settings
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, seeking consultation when necessary
• Refer patients to other providers when necessary
• Work within interdisciplinary teams to promote behavioral health services
• Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills
• Work both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Provide healthcare to individuals and families with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention
• Must have Master's or Doctorate degree in a related field with specialty focus in mental health
• Requires certification by a professional organization
• State licensure as either a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with Psychiatry Certification of Added Qualifications (CAQ)
• Current CPR certification required
• National certification in applicable area required
• Must complete credentialing process prior to practice
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
