Position Summary:

The Resident Assistant (RA) is responsible for providing tenants with high-quality direct routine care in all activities of daily living, under supervision, and in accordance with the Service Plan, MDH Nursing Assistant Program standards, the Tenant’s Bill of Rights, and the campus QAPI program. RAs apply skills in basic nursing, personal care, and restorative services, understanding mental health and social needs, especially for cognitively impaired tenants.

They are part of the interdisciplinary care team that promotes independence and well-being.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the healthcare industry; experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
