Location: Moose Lake

The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a residential, sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides services to over 700 individuals who have been civilly committed for sexual offending. MSOP is a national leader in the industry and is committed to providing services on the leading edge of the comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and management of clients.

The Mental Health Assessment Coordinator will coordinate the evaluation of individual client mental health functioning by conducting assessment and managing distribution of available resources to meet programmatic and statutory requirements.

Administers assessments, conducts clinical interviews and/or mental status examinations and evaluations
Complete annual assessment reports, event notes, and other program documentation as required.
Serve as a resource for the MSOP in understanding diagnoses and implications for treatment

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social work, professional counseling or closely related field.
  • Licensure by the State of Minnesota as an independent behavioral health professional (i.e. Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)).
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in a behavioral health setting with experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, sexual offender treatment, or mental health diagnosis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or Psy.

    D. in a human services field (Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work or related degree).
