Calian Patient Support Programs is looking for a Bilingual Clinical Lead to join our team on a Full-Time/Permanent basis.

The Clinical Lead coordinates and oversees activities of Calian Patient Support Program’s (Calian PSPs) Health Care Professional (HCP) network to ensure compassionate, effective and efficient delivery of high quality, patient-centric clinical care of our patients. You will also ensure that patients are cared for in a manner that meets program requirements and deliverables and ensures that HCPservices are delivered in compliance with federal and local regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of nurses and partners engaged in clinical care for patients enrolled into a Calian managed Patient Support Program (PSP).
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding of nurses.
  • Develop systems to monitor nurse performance, proactively managing the network based on trends.
  • Ensure patient appointments are scheduled in accordance with the prescribed treatment regimen and following the Product Monograph.
  • Monitor daily performance of Clinical Team members to ensure duties are completed accurately, efficiently and timely.
  • Ensure high quality clinical care for patients by reviewing and investigating concerns or complaints and recommending corrective action as appropriate.
  • Work with Calian PSP’s Supply Management Team to ensure clinical equipment remains in operating condition and Clinical Team Members have access to the appropriate supplies to fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Ensure clinical policies and procedures comply with federal regulations and provincial and regional requirements and regulations.
  • Identify and recommend changes to policies and procedures as needed to ensure quality, compliance, accuracy and cost efficiency.
  • Generate reports and metrics for review and acting on the information in collaboration with Management to ensure maximum operating efficiency, and compliance with Key Performance Indicators. (KPIs)
  • Ensure that HCPs are following proper workflows, issues are addressed in a timely fashion, and that there is consistency in communication between operations and HCPs.
  • Support special projects such as nurse re-assignments, schedule management, and inquiries.
  • Support onboarding and oversight of nursing partner agencies.
  • Fulfil other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Valid RN or RPN license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical or nursing capacity.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • English and French bilingualism preferred. (oral and written)
  • IV and Phlebotomy experience.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Empathetic and diplomatic communicator
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent initiative and innovative mindset.
Additional Requirements
  • Offer of employment is conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
  • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer (finite movements such as typing and other office functions).
  • Requires mental stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, and vision to read printed materials and a computer screen.
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours, including weekends and evenings, to support operations requirements.
  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time, including weekends or overnight.

Salary:

  • $85,000 - $100,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
