Lorenz Clinic is Minnesota’s first family psychology specialty clinic and the state’s first home for organized Post‑Master’s Fellowships. We invest deeply in our clinicians, supporting reflective practice through supervision, teaching, and a clinician wellness roadmap rooted in fairness, peer support, and professional autonomy.

Licensed psychotherapists provide diagnostic assessment, psychotherapy, and treatment planning to a diverse clientele across the lifespan. Clinicians practice within their areas of competence and receive support to develop clinical interests over time.

• Deliver psychotherapy and diagnostic assessment within your clinical areas of competence
• Develop treatment approaches that reflect relational, cultural, and developmental understanding
• Engage in regular consultation, Grand Rounds, and reflective supervision with peers
• Participate in a learning‑focused, feedback‑rich clinical community
• Maintain accurate, timely, and clinically meaningful documentation
• Uphold Lorenz’s commitment to integrity, humility, and systems‑based care
• Other duties as assigned within a collaborative, clinician‑led system

We seek clinicians who combine clinical competence with humility, reflective capacity, systems thinking, and a commitment to ongoing development.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health profession from an accredited academic program
• Full, independent, unrestricted licensure as a mental health professional in Minnesota (LP, LMFT, LICSW, or LPCC). Pre‑licensed therapists such as LGSWs or LAMFTs should consider Lorenz's Post‑Master’s Fellowship or Postdoctoral Fellowship positions unless licensure is imminent within four months.
• At least two years of post‑master’s experience providing primarily outpatient psychotherapy
• The ability to approach psychotherapy from systemic, relational, and developmental theoretical perspectives
• At least two years providing clinical supervision (preferred)
• Formal training in child, couples, family therapy, relational/interpersonal, or contemporary psychodynamic psychotherapy (preferred)

Pre‑licensed professionals will be considered for a separate title and pay structure that reflects the training and supervision tailored to your stage of professional development. Indicate your licensure status in your application.

The salary range for this role is $75,000‑$125,000 per year, depending on qualifications, program fit, caseload, and competencies. The range is $75,000‑$106,250 for master’s‑level licensees and $106,000‑$125,000 for licensed psychologists. The position is full‑time, salaried, exempt, benefits‑eligible, and paid as a W2.
