Northfield Hospital + Clinics is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. The position is part‑time, with an average of 40 hours per two‑week pay period.

Successfully meet the needs of patients and families by delivering excellent patient care, performing diagnostic radiology and CT procedures in a compassionate and safe manner. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment while operating radiographic equipment, including whole‑body CT scanners. Process high‑quality images, maintain adequate records, assist providers, and follow standard radiation and safety procedures.
Training will be provided in CT, Interventional Cardiology, Surgery, and other modalities once hired.
CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $37.58–$53.06. Compensation is based on experience, education, and internal equity considerations.
Key Accountabilities- Deliver excellent patient care by demonstrating compassion, thoroughly explaining procedures, providing comfort, answering questions, and completing exams in a timely manner.
- Prepare patients for imaging exams by reviewing provider orders, confirming the correct exam, accurately assessing patient needs, positioning appropriately, and providing education.
- Perform quality exams by operating imaging equipment competently, including data acquisition, image manipulation, reconstruction, and quality control to ensure optimal diagnostic images while monitoring patients throughout the exam.
- Maintain accurate patient records by completing correct and timely entries in all electronic health systems (HIS/RIS, PHA, PACS) and department‑specific programs.
- Practice accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work in a calm manner, anticipating workload and assisting others to maximize productivity in patient and department tasks.
- Stay current in the field by enhancing professional skills and knowledge through CEUs, self‑study, research, and dialogue, ensuring competency in all assigned exams and ability to float to assigned areas. Orient and train new employees and students.
- ARRT (R) – ARRT registration in Radiology; ARRT (CT) – ARRT registration in CT or completed NH+C CT competency verification
- Enrollment in NH+C RQI program for BLS certification; complete requirements within 90 days, staying current with quarterly assignments.
- Initial Crisis Prevention Certification (CPI) within six months.
- Workplace Violence education during new employee orientation and annually thereafter.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- ARRT(R)(CT) – ARRT registration in Radiology and CT with a minimum of two years’ experience (preferred).
- 40 hours per 2‑week pay period
- Day shift: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.;
Evening shift: 1:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.;
Night shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.;
Overnight shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. - Primarily evening and night shifts, with overnight coverage every fourth weekend.
