Public Works Supervisor - Mayer

Overview

City of Mayer seeks a Public Works Supervisor. This role oversees the Public Works Department, including Streets, Parks, Water, Sewer, and Storm Sewer operations, while supervising the Public Works Utilities Operator positions. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating daily maintenance, infrastructure projects, regulatory compliance, and contributing to budget and capital improvement planning. • Plan and coordinate daily maintenance for Streets, Parks, Water, Sewer, and Storm Sewer operations.
• Oversee supervision of Public Works Utilities Operator positions.
• Coordinate infrastructure projects and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Contribute to department budget development and capital improvement planning.
• Foster productive working relationships with staff and the public; adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining a constructive work environment.

• MN Class D Driver’s License.
• Class C Water License.
• Class C Wastewater License; or, in lieu of a Class C Wastewater License, Three years experience holding an S Wastewater Collections License of any type (S-A, S-B, S-C, S-D).

• Previous experience in a supervisory role.
• Class B Wastewater License.
• Class A Wastewater License.
