The City of St. Charles, MN, is accepting applications for the position of full‑time Police Officer. Applicants must be Minnesota POST Board licensed or eligible to be licensed by the date of hire.
The SCPD strongly believes each Officer has something important to contribute to the team, thus offering numerous training opportunities and special assignments such as:
- Use of Force Instructor
- Firearms Instructor
- Less‑Lethal Weapons Instructor
- Towards Zero Deaths (TZD)
- Drug Recognition Expert (DRE)
- Field Training Officer (FTO)
- Project Life Saver Coordinator
- Police Reserve Officer Coordinator
Applicants must pass a background check, physical exam, and psychological exam.
