Job Title: Internal Auditor

This position collaborates on problem solving and process improvement efforts, in order to maintain and continuously improve the Internal Audit Department’s policies, procedures, and performance. The Internal Auditor I will assist with compiling and implementing the annual Internal Audit plan, participate in investigations into identified or reported risks, and support the Internal Audit Manager in completing risk‑based audits covering operational and financial processes.

• Coordinate audits of bank departments to ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Collaborate on problem‑solving and process‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist with compiling and implementing the annual Internal Audit plan.
• Participate in investigations into identified or reported risks.
• Support the Internal Audit Manager in completing risk‑based audits covering operational and financial processes.
• Conduct audits for management to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations for various functions in the Bank.
• Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for management and the Internal Audit Manager.
• Organize and review documents under the direction of the Internal Audit Manager.
• Gather statistical information and perform special reviews as requested by management.
• Count cash, complete account confirmations, and provide review support as needed.
• Maintain proficiency with the Bank’s Core Operating System (CSI NuPoint), Excel, Word, and Adobe.
• Adhere to all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including BSA/AML, and comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of banking or related experience.
• Continuing education to maintain job knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Three to five years of customer service experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel between branches.
• Ability with the Bank’s Core Operating System (CSI NuPoint) and proficiency in Adobe.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

Physical presence in the Bank is required; may require installation of a Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) app on a personal mobile device. May travel between branches for audit work and attend trade/industry schools and seminars as needed.
