Seasonal Tax Advisor

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience with complex tax returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Expertise in tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus

• Engage clients in tax interviews both in person and through virtual avenues including video, phone, and chat
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate tax returns
• Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and promote additional products and services
• Offer clients support with IRS inquiries
• Provide audit representation if certified under Circular 230
• Mentor and assist fellow teammates, fostering a collaborative environment

• Completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Practical experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
• Proficient in preparing individual tax returns
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Comfortable using virtual communication tools
• Strong communication skills in person, via phone, and in writing
• Commitment to continuous education and meeting IRS and state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay range of $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
