* JOB DESCRIPTION:
** SUMMARY We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Lead Financial Analyst to join our Go-to-Market Finance team and provide direct support to our Home Depot organization. This analyst will support our financial reporting, forecasting processes, and strategic analysis. The ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of financial analysis experience in retail, manufacturing, or direct-to-consumer industries and have proven ability to deliver insights that impact strategic decisions and business growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Planning & Analysis:
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to drive effective decision-making processes.
Performance Analysis:
Evaluate financial performance, analyzing trends and providing actionable insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Engage closely with the Home Depot team to align financial objectives and support strategic business decisions.
Project Support:
Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and model potential promotions and other initiatives Continuous Improvement:
Assess current financial processes and recommend improvements for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
You can expect to work a hybrid schedule meaning 3 days/week on site and 2 days remote.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) are a plus.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in financial analysis within retail, manufacturing, or direct-to-consumer industries.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
Analytical & Operational
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data, with experience in analyzing manufacturing, retail, or direct-to-consumer business metrics such as cost structures, inventory management, pricing strategies, and customer acquisition costs.
Communication &
Collaboration:
Excellent communication skills to clearly present financial insights to both financial and non-financial audiences; proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration.
Initiative & Adaptability:
Self-starter who proactively identifies improvement opportunities and effectively manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong oral and written communication skills.
COMPENSATION Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
