CSA Quantity Surveyor - Data Center Project - Data Center Experience not mandatory

Working with a well-established global consultancy seeking a CSA-focused Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a large-scale data center project. This role will primarily focus on Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) packages, ensuring strong commercial control from procurement through final account.

While prior data center experience is desirable, it is not essential
. We welcome candidates with proven experience on large, complex, mission‑critical projects such as healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical plants, semiconductor fabs, high‑tech manufacturing, airports, or similar infrastructure developments.

This role is predominantly remote, with minimal travel required to site for key commercial milestones and stakeholder engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full commercial lifecycle of CSA packages
  • Lead cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Prepare and manage tender documentation, analysis, and recommendations
  • Evaluate subcontractor variations and manage change control processes
  • Monitor cost performance and identify commercial risks/opportunities
  • Lead and participate in commercial meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts
  • Provide accurate financial reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company governance and commercial procedures
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar
  • 5+ years’ experience in a QS role on large-scale construction projects
  • Experience on mission‑critical, technically complex, or high‑value projects (e.g., healthcare, pharma, manufacturing, airports, industrial plants)
  • Strong understanding of cost control, change management, and contract administration
  • Proficient in cost management tools and Excel
  • Data center project experience
  • Experience in fast-track construction environments
  • Exposure to international contract environments
  • Professional accreditation (RICS or equivalent)
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
  • Proactive risk identification and problem-solving mindset
