Job Overview
This position is responsible for implementing and managing engineering projects at the Cambria manufacturing facility. The role includes studying and understanding equipment, all steps necessary for installation and startup, maintaining budget, managing documentation, and installation.
Minimum Qualifications- Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Computer proficiency:
Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS. - Strong statistical/math skills and spreadsheet proficiency.
- Scheduling, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to travel out of state or country to visit equipment vendors.
- Ability to work varying/extended hours as needed.
- 3+ years manufacturing experience.
- High proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills.

- Locate/source equipment needed.
- Contact vendors for technical details, pricing, and develop budgets.
- Prepare capital expenditure requests and route for approval.
- Create presentations and documentation for operational team.
- Create/maintain project files: scope, notes, close‑out documents.
- Request purchase orders after approval.
- Ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
- Prepare project schedule and coordinate orders/installation.
- Compare functionality and price when investigating new equipment.
- Visit vendors to assess equipment options.
- Continuously improve efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
- Develop solutions to production problems.
- Provide support for project drawings.
- Assist with maintenance projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements- Travel between Cambria facilities.
- Travel to vendor locations for equipment testing and validation.
- Lift up to 40 lbs.
- Wear PPE: steel‑toed boots, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, face shield.
- Participate in daily stretch/flex exercises.
- Occasionally work in wet/humid conditions.
- Work in non‑climate‑controlled environment.
- Walk up/down steps multiple times per shift.
- Bend over multiple times per shift.
Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $80,000 – $105,000.
