Top manufacturer looking for an Electrical Engineer for Controls Engineering role.
Please note, this role is in the Albertville/Gadsden/Huntville region.
Please note, listed compensation is base salary plus annual bonus of 10%
Responsibilities- Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers, and production personnel to debug machines, troubleshoot machine operations, and customer requirements
- Understand the production process and how new products, design improvements and engineering changes impact the production process
- Create and modify operator instructions and user manuals
- Prepare proposals for control systems, including cost estimates
- Manage multiple automation projects including scheduling, budgeting, and procurement
- Be a point of contact and provide technical support as needed
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field
- Able to lead projects autonomously
- Proficient in PLC programming
- 480 VAC design experience is a plus
- Proficient in AutoCAD designing electrical schematics
