This position will provide engineering support by working with members of new product line development teams, and external suppliers through product commercialization. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual who can ensure that product components and finished products meet expectations, within the project timeline.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide technical support including measuring parts produced by fabrication or assembly equipment, analyzing measurement data and conducting capability studies.
- Perform Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility studies (GR&R).
- Design and procure measurement gauges through the expense and / or capital expenditure processes.
- Create Control Plans and Work Instruction documentation and conduct training.
- Transform data from various sources into usable information for decision-making.
- Participate in equipment design reviews.
- Lead and participate in Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and dimensional engineering strategies.
- 4-year engineering degree.
- 3–5 years engineering work experience.
- Working knowledge of measurement tools and systems, and geometric tolerancing.
- Experience in document creation, control, and training.
- Usage of computer software tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Minitab, etc.
- Knowledge and use of statistics, including capability studies and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and standards and convert into manufacturing control plans.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced agile environment.
Must be willing to travel up to 25% when required (primarily domestic, occasionally international).

- PROFIT Sharing:
In 2025 Andersen has set a profit‑sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
