We anticipate the need for one or more Station Electrician(s) to join our team at the Sherco Generating Plant in Becker, MN. The hourly pay for this position is $58.06 (2025 rate). This position will be posted for 10 working days from March 4, 2026, to March 17, 2026.

Responsibilities:

Install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain plant electrical and electronic equipment.

1. Will be required to actively participate in training and retraining programs.
2. Will be required to function under written plant maintenance procedures, as appropriate and document records as required by plant management.
3. Will be required to perform duties when necessary from scaffolding and catwalks in high and confined areas.
4. Will be required to have full knowledge of all applicable codes and OSHA requirements which apply to all plant work.
5. May be required to accept temporary assignments to other plant as directed by plant management.
6. Must be respirator qualified or obtainable.
7. May require shift work.

Required
1.High school diploma or GED.
2. Must have completed all apprentice electrical training and hold Journeyman certification.
3. Must have thorough knowledge of AC and DC laws and equations.
4. Must have thorough knowledge of all electrical test equipment.
5. Must have the ability to read and understand logic, schematic and circuit diagrams.
6. Must pass the EEI MASS testing.

A condition of employment will be successfully obtaining and maintaining General Security Clearance

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $58.06 per hour
