• Instructors will attend staff training on the evening of June 3; the evening of June 3rd.
• Instructors will follow the lead of the program supervisor and will assist with programming.
• Instructors will arrive early, know and fully execute the plan for each day, engage 100% throughout the program, teach general disciplines of each activity, enhance skill development, build relationships with youth, and communicate as needed with parents/guardians.
• Instructors will show enthusiasm and create fun, positive experiences through words, actions, and non‑verbal cues.
• Instructors will keep track of time worked and record it on a timesheet.
• Instructors will openly communicate with the recreation coordinator in a timely manner regarding vacation requests, program issues, etc.
• Instructors will be required to fill in for up to two Saturday swim lessons or two evening swim lessons (if aquatics staff).

• Applicant must be 16 to apply.

• Evidence of relationship building with youth.
• Evidence of specific sport or program knowledge and experience.
• Evidence of initiative taking and self‑directing.

Pay Rate/Range: $15.02/hr – $16.37/hr.

This position is not eligible for benefits.
