Position Overview
* Byron High School is seeking a full-time Agriculture/Industrial Technology Teacher for the school year and beyond.
* This position includes teaching a combination of agriculture and industrial technology courses at the high school level.
* The ideal candidate is passionate about hands-on learning, agricultural education, career and technical education, and preparing students for real-world applications and technical careers.
Teaching Responsibilities
* Teach Industrial Technology and Agriculture-related courses, which may include:
* Animal Science
* Basic Electricity
* Home Improvement / DIY
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Minnesota state standards
* Create and maintain a safe, organized, and hands-on learning environment
Qualifications
* Valid Minnesota Teaching License required
* Preferred licensure areas:
* Construction Careers
* Manufacturing Careers
* Work-Based Learning Certification
