We are a district that serves over 6,000 students and employs 725 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for designing and implementing reading interventions, supporting literacy development, teaching reading to individuals and small groups, and modeling and assisting teachers with differentiating reading instruction. For more information, please see the job description for this position.
Start date:
August 24, 2026 (plus new-to-district teacher orientation during the week prior to August 24, 2026)
FTE: 1.0
Contract:
186 days (plus 2 or 3 days of new-to-district orientation, depending on the Department of Teaching & Learnings requirements for this position)
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education and required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by the State of Minnesota, specific content knowledge, training or job experience required before appointment, and successful student teacher. K-12 reading license required.
Salary
Starting salary range = $48,292-$90,967. For more information, please see the Certified Master Contract .
