When you join Champions, you’ll be supporting hardworking families and elementary-aged kids during out-of-school time, on school grounds. You’ll partner with administrators to bring our programs to their district, or work with students to encourage bigger goals and perseverance, leading the way toward inspired learning.

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement Kinder Care's curriculum in a way that meets the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner with and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support the center’s success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners

• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer (preferred)
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and to work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures to maintain contact with children and ensure safety; good vision and hearing to keep children safe
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
