WHA is seeking applicants with a strong understanding of special education. Knowledge of instructional design and curriculum for students with educational disabilities; assessment and evaluation skills for meeting eligibility criteria; knowledge of due process components associated with the development, implementation, and monitoring of an IEP.
Current Minnesota PreK-12 Autism Spectrum Disorders teaching licensure and K-12 Developmental Cognitive Disabilities teaching licensure or the ability to obtain.
A strong understanding of students with special education needs in Autism
Knowledge of instructional design and curriculum for students with educational disabilities
Assessment and evaluation skills for meeting eligibility criteria
Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs for students with ASD and DCD
Foster open communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding students' progress and individual needs
Collaborate with other special education professionals, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment
Ability to work itinerantly between multiple sites
Qualifications- Current Minnesota PreK-12 Autism Spectrum Disorders teaching licensure and K-12 Developmental Cognitive Disabilities teaching licensure or the ability to obtain.

Salary and benefits depend on qualifications. Minimum starting salary is $54,614.
