We are seeking a reliable and flexible Short Call Substitute Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and managing the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.

• MN Teaching License or MN Short-Call Substitute license.
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different teaching styles.
• Flexibility and availability to work on short notice.

• Follow lesson plans left by the regular teacher.
• Manage the classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Provide instruction and support to students.
• Monitor student behavior and enforce school policies.
• Communicate with school staff and parents as needed.
• Complete necessary paperwork and reports.

Up to 1.25 hours: $40.00
Over 1.25 hour up to 4.25 hrs-1/2 day: $100.00
Over 4.25 hrs - Full Day: $200.00 (maximum $200.00/day)

An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year.
