Locum Physician - General Medicine
Join a dedicated team providing vital services to our nation's Veterans in Houston, Minnesota! As a General Medicine Provider, you will conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments in your own office or a designated facility, working on a PRN basis. Key Responsibilities:- Perform one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Conduct interviews and physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete administrative tasks related to exam reports and medical opinions.
- Work flexibly as needed, with options for half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts.
- Collaborate with the Veterans Evaluation Services to ensure quality care for Veterans.
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Possess a valid and unrestricted medical license.
- AANP certification required.
- Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine preferred.
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- AANP certification.
- Must provide a valid license and certification number during the application process.
