We are seeking a dedicated PRN Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team in Hawley, MN. Our flexible staffing model allows you to choose your schedule, providing you with the work-life balance you need while contributing to exceptional patient care. As an integral part of our dental team, you will assist in various dental procedures and ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists in all aspects of patient care, including procedures and exams
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed
- Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
- Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Active Minnesota Licensure, DAND Certification, and/or other state jurisprudence requirements to perform designated tasks
- Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferred based on clinic location)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to be added to the company car insurance roster highly preferred
