Customer Service Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Customer Service Representative to join our team in a manufacturing environment. This contract-to-hire position plays a key role in supporting customers and ensuring the accurate processing of orders.

• Handle inbound customer calls ito assist with order placement, product inquiries, and general support
• Accurately enter and process customer orders using the AS400 system
• Communicate with production, shipping, and inventory teams to confirm product availability and lead times
• Make warm outbound calls to existing customers in the afternoon to follow up on open orders, provide updates, and strengthen customer relationships
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Support internal teams by relaying customer feedback and identifying potential issues

• Prior experience in customer service within a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
• Familiarity with AS400 or other ERP/order entry systems is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
