Concrete Foreman

Location: Elrosa

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provide oversight, guidance, and coordination of crew to complete concrete projects of all types. Coordinate with project superintendent to maintain schedule, quality, and progress within the specifications of each job.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

* Supervise and lead concrete crews performing formwork, rebar placement, pours, finishing, and curing

* Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to crew members

* Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings

* Ensure proper layout, elevations, and dimensions are achieved

* Coordinate concrete deliveries, pump trucks, and equipment

* Monitor quality of work to ensure compliance with project requirements

* Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations

* Conduct job site safety meetings and daily hazard assessments

* Communicate progress, issues, and manpower needs to Director of Field Operations

* Track labor hours and material usage

* Train and mentor crew members, including new hires and apprentices

* Identify and resolve field issues promptly to avoid delays or rework

* Proper equipment selection and maintenance

* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS &

EXPERIENCE:

* Proven experience as concrete construction foreman and/or the managing of a crew of 3 years

* In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines

* Ability to read drawings and specifications

* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to lift 80 pounds

* Have a positive work attitude

* Aptitude in math

* Punctual and On-Time

* Good physical condition

* Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems

* Valid driver's license w/ CDL (Preferred, but not required)

COMMENTS:

Knowledge of multiple disciplines may be required. Makes decisions and recommendations which can greatly impact corporate relationship with Client and profitability of projects under his/her management. Acts without close supervision. Proven experience and judgement.
