Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Assess project risks and define mitigation plans.
  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Direct project managers, superintendents, and support teams.
    • Monitor performance and promote a collaborative, high‑performing environment.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and vendors.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key project communications.
  • Manage project budgets, cash flow, and cost controls.
  • Analyze financial performance and implement cost‑effective strategies.
  • Quality & Safety
    • Oversee project compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
    • Promote a proactive culture of safety and accountability.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate project records, permits, and change orders.
    • Provide executive‑level reporting on project status, risks, and financials.
Qualifications
  • 7‑10+ years of progressive experience managing heavy civil construction projects
  • Proven track record with large‑scale DOT, municipal, and public works projects
  • Strong command of compliance, permitting, and construction specifications
  • Expertise in project scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project)
  • Proficient with construction management software (Vista, B2W, HCSS, Procore, or similar)
  • Knowledgeable in concrete/asphalt paving, structures, utilities, and earthwork
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred

Schedule
