The Quick Details:- Job Type: Full-time; hourly
- Pay: Starting at $25 - $30
- Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Note: This role is fully onsite and does not offer remote or hybrid work options

Job Summary:As the Accounting Specialist, you'll support payroll processing, accounting functions, and related administrative activities to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations. This full-time position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Preparing and processing biweekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now; ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Verifying team member hours, time sheets, and payroll‑related data to maintain consistency and minimize errors.
- Setting up and maintaining team member profiles, systems access, benefits, etc. (including Open Enrollment) within payroll systems, resolving discrepancies and supporting audits.
- Processing team member verification records including wage levies, garnishments, child support, and other deductions.
- Handling accounts receivable tasks, including cash receipt processing and account reconciliations.
- Generating financial reports and assisting with month‑end closing procedures to support accurate financial tracking.
- Maintaining accurate and organized payroll, accounting, and audit documentation.
- Collaborating with HR and finance teams to manage payroll compliance and resolve issues as needed.
- Supporting special projects, including process improvements, to enhance operational efficiency.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Accounting Team Leader.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now for payroll processing and compliance.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including reconciliation.
- Ability to generate and interpret financial reports with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with maintaining payroll and accounting records for audits.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize projects and work independently to meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to be organized and detail oriented.
- Experience in Microsoft Office software and general computer skills.
- Ability to adhere to company’s confidentiality policy regarding company & team member confidential data.
- Associate degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of direct payroll experience required.
