Accounts Payable Representative

The Accounts Payable Representative is responsible for all payments of supplies and services, maintains A/P files, and performs any other duties to meet business needs.

• Coordinates all communication internally to ensure complete source documents and all A/P policies are followed.
• Verifies accuracy of vendor invoices per approval by appropriate Team Leader.
• Processes invoices and inputs into the computer system.
• Processes internal check requests for travel, expenses, etc.
• Prints accounts payable checks and reports and verifies accuracy.
• Maintains files of accounts and invoices.
• Contacts vendors regarding billings; answers vendor inquiries.
• Bills outside agencies and/or clinics for non-patient receivables.
• Provides backup to Finance Assistant in preparing daily bank deposits when necessary.
• Attends departmental and facility-wide in-services and any other events.

• $20.51 - $24.37 per hour.

• Enjoy a consistent 4-day work week (32 hours) as the standard schedule for this role. Additional hours, up to 40 per week, may be available at times based on business needs.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Associate degree (A.A.) in Accounting or related field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer, typing, and calculator proficiency;
  Knowledge of accounting software, spreadsheets, Microsoft Office products
• Math competency, ability to plan and organize
• Excellent communication, customer service, adaptability, and time management skill
