• Deliver compassionate care to patients under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist in the implementation of therapeutic treatments and exercises.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately.
• Collaborate with PTs, staff, and patients to promote a positive treatment environment.

• Successfully graduated from an accredited two‑year program for physical therapist assistants.
• Must be licensed (or eligible) to practice as a PTA in Florida.
• Preferred membership in state and national physical therapy associations.
• Strong administrative and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with patients and medical staff.
• In‑depth knowledge of physical therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Safety awareness and knowledge of potential hazards during treatment.
• Emotional intelligence and stability to manage the demands of patient care and teamwork.
• Commitment to confidentiality of patient and employee information.
• Preferred:
  Knowledge of Medicare and third‑party reimbursement; experience with Net Health.
