The Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing and overseeing all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory control, and transportation activities. This role ensures materials are received, stored, and distributed safely, efficiently, and accurately while meeting productivity, quality, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. The Warehouse Manager leads warehouse and inventory staff, maintains compliance with regulatory standards, and drives continuous improvement to optimize operational performance.

Roles & Responsibilities- Direct and manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, and material flow.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments, minimizing cost while maintaining service and inventory accuracy.
- Utilize the transportation management system and partners to maximize truck scheduling and shipping.
- Communicate with customers to coordinate shipping of products to ensure On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery.
- Plan and coordinate warehouse activities in partnership with purchasing, production, quality, sales, and transportation teams.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts, FIFO compliance, verification of shipments, and discrepancy resolution.
- Implement and maintain best practices to improve warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and space utilization.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, GMP requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Ensure all warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) is maintained in safe working conditions.
- Lead compliance with DOT regulations for company vehicles and transportation activities.
- Provide leadership and direction to warehouse and inventory staff.
- Interview, hire, train, coach, and develop employees.
- Plan, assign, and direct work to meet operational goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on damage reduction, process efficiency, cost control, and service levels.
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective actions to improve warehouse performance.
- Support implementation of new systems, processes, or layout changes as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of warehouse leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or GMP‑regulated environment.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience required with forklift and material‑handling equipment.
- DOT and transportation compliance experience preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse systems and business tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Working knowledge of inventory management, transportation, and warehouse safety standards.
