Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations and Chief Pilot, this position would work as a pilot on the Challenger 605/650 aircraft. This position is accountable for the provision of safe and cost effective air transportation service to CPKC executives using company corporate aircraft. Ensuring all aspects of aircraft operation comply with regulatory requirements including pilot qualifications and aircraft inspections and maintenance.
POSITIONACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure all aspects of aircraft operation comply with regulatory requirements including pilot qualifications and aircraft inspections and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with CPKC's policies and procedures including Corporate Air Transport Policy and Critical Cluster Policy
- Deliver safe, reliable air transportation services to CPKC executives and third-party company executives if applicable and as required
- Assist Director Flight Operations & Chief Pilot in running of Aviation team as requested
- Contribute to improving cost effective operation of the Aviation department
- Contribute to improving safety standards within the Aviation department wherever possible
This is a full-time position based out of the Kansas City downtown Airport. Residing within 45 minutes of the KMKC airport is required.
CAPTAIN REQUIREMENTS- FAA ATPL, Willing to obtain Transport Canada ATPL within 1 Year.
- Valid Group 1 IFR
- Valid Class 1 Medical, Willing to obtain Category 1 Transport Canada Medical
- 5000+ hours Total time
- 3000+ hours Multi Pic
- 1000+ hours of jet experience
- Preference given to candidates current or experienced on the Challenger 600 series Aircraft
- Corporate aviation experience is an asset
- International experience desirable
- FAA ATPL - Must be willing to obtain Transport Canada ATPL with in 1 year
- Valid Group 1 IFR
- Valid Class 1 Medical, Willing to obtain Category 1 Transport Canada medical
- 2500+ hours Total time
- 1000+ hours Multi Pic
- 500+ hours of jet experience
- Preference will be given to candidates current or experienced on the Challenger 600 series aircraft
- Corporate aviation experience is an asset
- Must possess a minimum of a High School diploma;
College degree desirable - Valid airline transport pilot license as issued by Transport Canada or FAA.
- Ability to obtain a RAIC; or Applicable Airport security pass
- Heavy travel away from home, including overnights

This is a safety critical position and a successful pre-employment medical assessment including physical, vision, hearing, and a negative company or regulated drug test is required. Post hire qualification drug testing may also be required.
