Senior Java Developer ; Kafka​/AWS

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with at least 9+ years of experience, you will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications and microservices using modern technologies. You will be a valued member of the Technology & Engineering team, collaborating with cloud architects, Dev Ops engineers, and front-end developers to deliver innovative solutions.

We believe hybrid work is the way forward, providing flexibility wherever possible. This role requires 3 days per week onsite at a client or Cognizant office.

• Building reusable components and class libraries for future use.
• Architect solutions with high quality code ·.
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of clients ·.
• Developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, AWS, MySQL, JavaScript, Spring MVC.
• Developing rest end points for different formats such as XML and Json formats.
• Mentor and guide offshore team members.
• Well versed with cross team co-ordination.

Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in:

• Java, Spring Boot, SQL, AWS, MySQL, JavaScript, Spring MVC.
• Experience with popular state management techniques and messaging systems (such as Kafka).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON, Web Tokens.
• Understanding of front-end build tools and pipelines
  · Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $141,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
