Senior Quality Engineer - Financial Services
Contract Position | 6 Months W-2 contract

Our client is a leading financial services organization that delivers critical payment services to financial institutions nationwide. They operate a comprehensive suite of services including funds transfer systems, settlement services, and cutting-edge instant payment solutions. We're seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join their innovative team and drive end-to-end quality assurance for mission-critical financial systems.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze, design, test, and deliver technology solutions while implementing comprehensive software quality assurance strategies
- Develop, maintain, and execute both automated and manual test scripts for complex financial systems
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to execute test scripts on schedule
- Collaborate across teams to validate end-to-end flows in multi-system environments
- Document, track, and resolve software defects in collaboration with product delivery teams
- Ensure quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle through peer reviews and QA processes
- Develop and communicate software quality measures reporting on reliability, compliance, performance, and security
- Partner closely with delivery teams to align QA services with product delivery approaches
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in financial services
- Strong experience with automated testing frameworks and tools
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenancelciao`
- Experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies
- Knowledge of financial systems and payment processing workflows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools
