Job Description

We are seeking a Firmware Engineer contractor for a 6-month engagement with the potential for extension up to a year. This role closely aligns with our full-time embedded position and demands a robust experience in C programming and RTOS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement embedded firmware solutions using C programming.

• Work within RTOS environments to ensure efficient and reliable system performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project scope and requirements.

• Demonstrate a proactive and self-driven approach to problem-solving and project management.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded systems development (10 years preferred).

• Expertise in C programming and embedded software development.

• Solid understanding of RTOS environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to identify scope and requirements independently.

• A strong eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach. The role does not require experience with Linux or higher-level languages.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
