We are actively seeking a Philanthropy Manager to support a high-impact scholarship initiative focused on removing financial barriers for students pursuing careers in health tech and related fields.
This is a 14-week contract opportunity ideal for a project-driven professional with experience managing scholarship or mentorship programs and delivering cross-functional initiatives.
Program Overview- Remove financial barriers for students pursuing 2-year, 4-year, or job-ready equivalent programs in health tech
- Provide meaningful financial support through scholarships
- Deliver wrap-around services such as coaching, mentoring, networking, and career awareness programming
- Engage employees in volunteerism opportunities including mentoring, networking, and career development activities
- Support student graduation and early-career success
- Serve as the project lead for key scholarship deliverables over the next 14 weeks, working closely with a third-party vendor and Foundation stakeholders.
- Lead and manage end-to-end scholarship processes including:
- Awardee selection
- Notification
- Reporting
- Payment coordination
- Oversee development and execution of student support programming, including:
- Mentorship program rollout
- Career awareness videos and activities
- Networking sessions
- Virtual kick-off event for new scholarship cohort
- Partner with Foundation employee engagement and communications teams to:
- Launch and manage a scholarship student emergency fund
- Engage employees in volunteer activities
- Track employee donations through the Your Cause platform and coordinate donor recognition
- Prepare reporting dashboards, presentations, and stakeholder updates
- Minimum 3+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years leading or supporting scholarship, mentorship, or student support programs
- Strong program design and execution skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience preparing and facilitating meetings
- Comfortable working independently with guidance
- Highly goal-oriented and action-driven
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Experience building training documents and presentation materials
- Experience analyzing data and developing reporting tools
