Maintenance Technician

RMK Management has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician. This is a terrific opportunity to work with a growing company that offers great benefits.

• Complete daily work orders within 24 hours.
• Complete work orders in a prompt and efficient manner and submit to the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor at the end of each day.
• Perform maintenance as required to bring apartments to a move‑in condition on a timely basis.
• Perform preventative maintenance in buildings as required. This includes changing filters, replacing lock batteries, repairing light fixtures, repairing doors, etc.
• Diagnose and repair appliances.
• Be on after‑hours call duty for 7 days every 4 weeks.
• Participate in snow removal as needed.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and the hazardous chemical program.
• Maintain courteous communications with all people in contact.
• Comply with Fair Housing and Federal Trade Commission requirements.
• Maintain pool and spas including vacuuming, testing chemicals, etc.
• Assist in maintaining all common grounds as required.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in performance of all maintenance as required in conjunction with the request of the Property Manager.
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned by the company from time to time.

• 2–3 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Own hand tools.
• HVAC certification.
• Some knowledge of carpentry, appliances, electrical, and plumbing.
• Ability to work independently and also as a valuable team asset.
• Pass background and drug screening prior to employment.
