Pioneer Golf Co. is a fast-growing startup building high-end, custom indoor golf simulators in luxury homes and commercial facilities across the Midwest. We’re early, we’re growing quickly, and we already have real momentum: a showroom, a branded van, a large warehouse, and a strong pipeline of projects.
We’re looking for a skilled construction professional who wants to be one of the first core team members and help take the business to the next level. This role is for someone who wants ownership, influence, and a clear path to leadership, not to be a cog in someone else’s machine.
About the Role:You’ll be the construction lead and go-to person on job sites. Today, that means hands‑on installs and problem‑solving. Over time, it means helping build processes, train installers, and lead install teams as we scale.
While the founder focuses on sales, marketing, and product development, you’ll own execution, build quality, and on‑site leadership. This is a hands‑on role now with a clear path to running installation teams in the near future.
What You’ll Do:- Lead and execute custom golf simulator installations from start to finish
- Perform hands‑on construction work including framing, finish carpentry, mounting, fabrication, and carpet installation
- Confidently use a wide range of power tools and hand tools
- Adapt plans to real‑world site conditions and solve problems efficiently
- Maintain high standards in luxury homes and commercial environments
- Communicate clearly with the founder, clients, and future team members
- Help document and improve install processes
- Train and lead additional installers as the company grows
- 2+ years of hands‑on construction experience (residential and/or commercial)
- Strong understanding of basic building principles and techniques
- Comfortable using a wide variety of tools and materials
- Strong problem‑solving ability on job sites
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to work independently with a high level of ownership
- Experience working in finished homes or commercial spaces is a big plus
- $50,000 base pay (1099 position)
- Realistic Year 1 earnings: $50,000–$75,000+
- Performance‑based bonuses tied to:
