Building Maintenance Technician

Insight Global is seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation for one of our clients in Vadnais Heights. This hands-on role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a wide range of mechanical systems, building infrastructure, and laboratory equipment, including HVACR systems, boilers, chillers, and associated controls. The technician will diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, and blueprints, while also operating and monitoring building management systems (Metasys), fire protection, and security systems.

In addition to supporting contractor coordination and executing facility projects, this role leads small-scale improvement initiatives, maintains high safety and housekeeping standards, and responds to emergency situations as part of an on-call rotation. The position requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while contributing to long-term facility performance and operational excellence.

Pay Rate: $38.00+/hour (based on experience)
