Hopkins, MN (projects throughout the Twin Cities metro). Industry: Residential & Commercial Landscaping / Hardscaping.
Sota Landscaping is growing and looking for motivated Landscape/Hardscape Team Members to join our field crews. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, want to build hands‑on skills, and are eager to grow within a respected local company.
You’ll assist with a variety of landscaping and hardscaping projects, including patios, retaining walls, grading, sod installation, and more. This is active, physical work where teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude matter. - Assist with softscape and hardscape installations, including:
- Mulch, sod, rock, edging, and grading
- Patios, retaining walls, steps, and boulder walls
Follow direction from Foremen and Project Leads
Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
Operate landscaping equipment such as skid steers, compactors, and mini‑excavators (based on experience)
Drive company trucks and tow trailers when qualified
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects efficiently
Take initiative to help move projects forward and support the team
Qualifications1–2 years of landscaping or hardscaping experience preferred.
Basic experience operating landscape equipment is a plus.
Experience driving trucks and trailers is preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical labor.
Reliable, punctual, and safety‑minded.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver’s license is a plus.
$20–$24/hour, based on experience.
