Field Service Technician

Edge Technologies is a leading provider of machine tool automation and peripheral equipment for the metalworking industry. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to be part of our Technical Support team. Our Work Environment Includes growth opportunities, wellness programs, and training and support. Edge Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to work in the MN/Upper Midwest region.

• Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and servicing magazine bar feeder equipment on CNC lathes at customer locations throughout a specified region
• Receive a briefing from fellow Technical Support associates before the customer visit. This will include any action or troubleshooting activities already taken with the customer to address their needs
• Tools and instruments provided

• Related service technician experience of two through five years or equivalent certified technical training on industrial equipment that utilizes PLC/HMI driven motion control
• Ability to effectively communicate with the customer and professionally represent the company is a critical requirement
• Knowledge of industrial electronics, wiring, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of CNC turning centers, specifically sliding headstock lathes, is a plus
• Must possess above-average computer skills and be able to use Windows and other software packages such as Salesforce Lightning

• Overnight travel will be 50 - 75% depending on your base of operation
