About the Role: As a Journeyman Electrician with Blue Ox Heating & Air, you will specialize in performing electrical hookups for HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, and ductless minisplits. Your expertise ensures safe, code-compliant installations that allow our customers' comfort systems to run efficiently. With your knowledge of electrical systems and attention to detail, you'll play a critical role in supporting our HVAC teams and delivering legendary service to every home we visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical hookups for HVAC equipment including furnaces, AC units, boilers, ductless minisplits, and similar systems.
• Ensure all work complies with state and local electrical codes, manufacturer specifications, and company safety standards.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation to complete installations accurately.
• Collaborate with HVAC installers and project managers to ensure smooth, coordinated system installations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on HVAC systems and provide effective solutions.
• Conduct electrical testing and verification to confirm safe operation of HVAC equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, materials used, and project details.
• Mentor and support apprentices when applicable.
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring homeowners understand the work performed and feel confident in the results.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Electrician license (Minnesota).
• Proven experience with HVAC electrical hookups strongly preferred.
• Solid knowledge of residential electrical systems, installation practices, and troubleshooting methods.
• Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
