About the Role
The Climate Control Team delivers, installs, and maintains portable climate control equipment including air conditioners, ground thaw equipment, temporary heaters, and large-area dehumidification equipment for commercial, industrial, residential, and special event customers. This position requires providing exceptional service while working independently in a safe and efficient manner.

Dutiesand Responsibilities (Not limited to the following)
- Deliver, install, and maintain portable climate control equipment per manufacturer and company specifications
- Provide professional, knowledgeable service to customers at all times
- Perform preventative maintenance and field service on equipment
- Drive company truck (Ford 550 size) to pickup and deliver equipment to customer locations
- Transport, install, disconnect, and return climate control equipment safely
- Check all equipment for connections and fittings to avoid gas leaks
- Complete daily DOT vehicle inspections (pre‑trip and post‑trip reports)
- Maintain company vehicle and ensure a safe, clean work environment
- Support the Sanitation/P&D teams as needed during peak seasons
- Communicate professionally with both external and internal customers
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver's License
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to obtain a valid DOT medical card
- Able to start shift at 6:30 AM
- Flexibility to work overtime, on‑call, and weekends as needed
- Available to work additional hours during peak business seasons including weekends and special events
- Able to travel when necessary
- Ability to climb: in and out of trucks (Ford 550 size) between 30‑60 times per day using 3 points of contact, to bed of truck, and stairs
- Driving a vehicle for 5+ hours/day
- Ability to walk on all different terrain, uneven surfaces, work in all weather conditions outside
- Ability to push/pull/lift up to 100 lbs on a regular basis and 140‑170 lbs on an occasional basis
- Ability to reach (including above head), bend, climb, push, pull, squat, and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties
