As a Fabricator, you will:


Job Description :
As a Fabricator, you will be responsible primarily for informing and executing build plans provided by Design and Project Management teams. Considered the subject matter expert on a wide range of fabrication
strategies including but not limited to carpentry, metal working, materials selection/usage, and the principles and techniques necessary to realize design drawings.

This role will routinely collaborate with Design, Finishing, and Project Management teams to evaluate design
requirements, material selection, and contribute to a plan for the fabrication process ensuring the products meet design specifications and client standards.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Journeyman / Completed Apprenticeship, 2-year technical degree/certificate, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in leveraging a wide variety of fabrication, materials, tools/equipment.
• Ability to work safely in a variety of environments and projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to understand and create construction documents.
• Ability to work constructively under tight timelines.
• Fluency in core building and fabrication techniques (carpentry and metalworking)
• Ability to occasionally travel and provide on-site/set support outside of normal working hours.
• Ability to routinely lift 50 lbs. as needed to complete tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in custom fabrication, fine woodworking/cabinetry,theater, or art.
• Experience in digital fabrication equipment such as CNC, Laser cutting, and Plasma cutting.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $32/hr to $37/hr

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
