CenterPoint Energy is seeking a HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

• Provide quality services/products focusing on customer satisfaction and safety.
• Service, inspect, and install residential gas and electric appliances to ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to utility calls, locate gas leaks, and take safety measures.
• Promote and sell Home Service Plus products and services, maintaining professional relationships.
• Respond to emergencies to ensure safe delivery of natural gas.
• Operate and maintain company vehicle and tools safely, manage inventory, and suggest process improvements.
• Update skills based on technological changes to ensure service excellence.

Requires completion of a 1- or 2-year diploma or associate degree in heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning, or equivalent experience. Entry-level candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning are also eligible. Must have been a Tech B for 6 months and completed at least two years in the Tech A classification.
