Job Summary:

Responsible for pre-departure security screening of all persons, baggage and belongings intended to be carried into the sterile area or in the cabin of a charter aircraft using the available screening equipment and physical inspections.

• Screen all people, baggage and equipment prior to allowing the people or material to pass through the assigned access point.
• Ensure safe handling of dangerous objects discovered.
• Conduct random body scan and accompanying baggage checks.
• Patrol and document security related inquiries from employees, vendors and the general public.
• Handle all emergency alarms and inform supervisor of any security incident.
• Use CCTV system to monitor critical areas and surrounding facilities.
• Keep the Inventory of keys, radios and any other issued equipment.
• Record screening results in computer system and complete related documents.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a valid Driving License.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Physical requirements:
• Must be able to constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and grasp outwards; frequently sit and bend; and occasionally push, pull, lift up to 70lbs, move up to 70lbs, climb and crawl.

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
