- Monitor door access points to ensure authorized entry only.
- Maintain visibility and oversight of all rented spaces to ensure appropriate use.
- Enforce district safety protocols and report incidents or concerns promptly.
- Ensure emergency exits and pathways remain unobstructed.
- Be prepared to respond appropriately in the event of a safety, security, or medical issue.
- Perform related duties as required by supervisors or other administrators.
- Evening and weekend availability is essential.
- Training will be provided regarding building operations and emergency procedures.

- Follow all applicable safety training, rules, procedures and regulations governing building security and safety.
- Knowledge of best practices in building security and safety.
- Knowledge of security and alarm systems, electronic surveillance, and related safety and security devices.

- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, local law enforcement officials and others contacted in the course of work.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in customer service, building security, or facility supervision preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Must pass a background check and complete district training protocols.
