As a Technical Sales Consultant and key member of the Central Region sales team, you will drive business growth in particle sizing, zeta potential, surface, and porosity methods within your territory, covering upper Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. Your location is ideally near Minneapolis, MN, but other major cities in the territory are possible.
You will report to the Central Region Sales Director in Vernon Hills, IL.
The base salary range for this position is $90,000/year to $101,600/year. The commission plan is uncapped, pays monthly from dollar one, and includes bonuses for exceeding targets. We offer full benefits, a profit‑sharing contribution to your 401(k), and a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.
Job Description- Generating and developing new accounts and effectively managing existing accounts.
- Presenting to small and large audiences, including C‑suite executives, production managers, and technicians.
- Qualifying opportunities, developing proposals, and closing business.
- Travel (up to 50–60%, including overnight stays) for meetings, demonstrations, and installations.
- Experience in technical sales, preferably in analytical instrument sales.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in a natural science or engineering (preferred).
- Valid driver’s licence and passport.
